Join us Sunday morning at 9:30am for our worship service. This week will be led by Nick Boke and is titled "Which U are You?".

Religious groups have a propensity to break into factions. The difference with Unitarian Universalism is that it began as the two Unitarian and Universalist "factions" merged over half a century ago. Which half do you identify with?

There will be religious exploration for children ages 4 and older and child care is provided for younger children. All are welcome.

Fewer Americans are choosing to affiliate with a church in recent years, even as we are becoming a more religiously diverse nation.  Is it time to rethink the role of churches for today’s religious seekers?

A water ceremony to mark the start of the new church year will be celebrated at the end of the service. Child care is provided for younger children. All are welcome.

Sunday Worship Service - Jane Dwinell

Join us Sunday morning at 9:30am for our worship service. This week will be led by Jane Dwinell. 

Rev. Jane Dwinell is just back from the People’s Climate March in Washington, DC and will share some thoughts about what we can do in the face of climate change. She was the minister at the First Universalist Parish in Derby Line, VT and the Adirondack Unitarian Universalist Community in Saranac Lake, NY, and worked as a small congregation consultant. She is mostly retired, and lives in Burlington, VT with her husband, son, and daughter-in-law where they love to play disc golf, Bridge, and grow lots of veggies.

After this service, we will celebrate longtime members Laura and David Driver, who will be moving to Massachusetts this summer. Everyone is invited to bring a dish to share for after the service.

Winter Solstice Evening Service

First Universalist Parish invites the community to an evening holiday service celebrating the Winter Solstice starting at 6:30pm. It will be led by the Rev. Nancy Jay Crumbine and the service will feature Christmas carols and readings. We are also thrilled that harpist Erik Johansson will be performing, as well as a childrens’ string ensemble. Refreshments follow this service, which is intergenerational. Children and families are welcome.
