Our distinctive stone church was built in 1845 and is a highlight of Chester’s Stone Village Historic District. The church is beautiful, both inside and out, and is graced by handsome stained-glass windows and a lovely front garden. It is an inspiring setting for Sunday services and other church activities. Solar panels, unobtrusively situated to avoid marring the aesthetics of the Stone Village, meet the full electrical needs of the church. Church space is offered free-of-charge to community groups.

The congregation is currently converting the meadow behind the church into an ecological buffer that promises to delight visitors, create valuable wildlife habitat, and sequester carbon for generations to come. This project, named the Meadow Walk Project, includes improved drainage, carefully selected trees, shrubs and grasses, and mowed walking paths.
